Services for police juror's wife Thursday

        Mrs. Walter J. (Rena) Goos, 64, of 932 Idlewilde Lane died at 4:30 a.m. today in a local hospital.
        Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Hixson Funeral Home Chapel.
        The Rev. Lloyd Bragg of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Goos Cemetery.
        Mrs. Goos was a native of Lake Charles. She was the wife of Walter J. Goos, a Calcasieu Parish police juror.
        Survivors are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Wilbert Hebert and Ruth Goos, both of Lake Charles, Mrs. Ellsworth Sperling of Beaumont and Mrs. Walter Lafargue of Alexandria; two sons, Walter S. and Jerry W. Goos, both of Lake Charles.
        Also one brother Augustus Materne of Lake Charles, and seven grandchildren.
        Pallbearers will be Marvin Guth, Charles Elliott, Bill Watson, Kenneth Crosby, Wilfred Hebert and Clay Browne.
        Ward 3 Police Jury members will be honorary pallbearers.
