					Patsy Ruth Goos Hornsby entered into eternal life on 
					Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, surrounded by her family. Born Dec. 15, 1935, she was reared in 
					Moss Bluff and lived in Lake Charles.
 She is survived by her son, Steve 
					Hornsby and wife Kim; daughters, Lisa Wade and husband Bill 
					and Cindy Hornsby; brother, Gordon Goos; sister, Pauline 
					Daughtery; and six grandchildren, Lindsey and Jacob Ison, 
					Brandon Wade and Kass, Kinnon and Kirstyn Vincent, all of 
					Lake Charles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oran 
					Hornsby; parents, Leno and Edna Goos; and brother, Daniel 
					Goos.
 Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. 
					Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Hixson Funeral Home. The Rev. Kelly 
					Vigo will officiate. Burial will be in Goos Cemetery. 
					Visitation will be 3-9 p.m. today, Feb. 23, and from 8 a.m. 
					until services Tuesday. The family would like to express 
					sincere thanks to the staff at Lake Charles Care Center and 
					Odyssey Health Care.
