Funeral services
for Abner Oran Hornsby, 64, will be at 10 a.m. today, Nov. 6,
in Hixson Funeral Home.
The Rev. Ronnie
Estes will officiate. Burial will be in Goos
Cemetery. Visitation is from 8
a.m. A native of Church Point, he lived
in Lake Charles for many years. He was an Army veteran, a
member of Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers and retired from
Conoco as a mechanic in 1993.
Survivors
include his wife, Patsy Goos Hornsby; one son, Steve Hornsby
of Lake Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Lisa) Wade and
Cindy Hornsby, both of Lake Charles; one brother, Rudy Hornsby
of Lake Charles; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Fontenot and Mrs.
Loretta Huffstickler, both of Lake Charles; his mother, Mrs.
Clarice Hornsby of Lake Charles; and two
grandchildren. |
