JOHN L. CONRAD
WEST LAKE (Spl) – Funeral services for John Leslie Conrad, 38, life resident of the West Lake area, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hixson funeral home chapel in Lake Charles with Rev. Pratt McCloud officiating. Burial will be in Goos cemetery in Lake Charles under the direction of Hixson's funeral home.
Mr. Conrad died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick hospital.
He was a pipe
superintendent at Hercules Powder Co. Mr. Conrad was a past president of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local No. 106. He was active in sports and was a star basketball player at West Lake high school from which he was graduated.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Bernice Conrad; five sons, A. E., Billy, Johnnie, Owens and Gregory Conrad; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Conrad, and one brother, Alvin E. Conrad, all of West Lake. |
