WESTLAKE – Funeral services for Alvin
Edward Conrad, 66, of 2824 Arthur St. will be at 2 p.m. today,
Feb. 1, in Hixson Funeral Home here.
The Revs. Arthur E. Hodges Jr., Pratt
McCloud and Marvin Green of Bellview Baptist Church will
officiate. Burial will be in Goos Cemetery in
Goosport. Visitation
will be until time of services today.
Mr. Conrad died at 6:55 a.m. Friday in a
Lake Charles hospital.
A native of Gahagen and a descendant of
Captain Daniel Goos, he lived most of his life in Westlake. He
was a member of Royal Arch Chapter 101, Eastern Star Chapter
228 in Westlake, Westlake Masonic Lodge 443, Plumbers and
Steamfitters 106, Pipeliner Local 798 and was a retired pipe
welder of Local 106.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Friesner Conrad; one son,
Fred Conrad of Westlake, two grandchildren. |
