Funeral services for George T. Lock, 57, a member of an old and prominent Lake Charles family were to be at 3 p.m. today in the Hammer Funeral Home chapel.
Dr. George W. Pomeroy, pastor of the First Methodist Church, was to officiate with burial in Goos Cemetery.
Mr. Lock died at 2 p.m. Tuesday in a Lake Charles hospital. He was a native of Lockport, a veteran of World War II, and secretary of the Edgewood Land and Logging Co. and Lock-Moore and Company.
He was the son of George T. Lock and Delia Moss Lock and the grandson of Capt. George Lock and Ellen Goos Lock. Both of his grandparents were members of families that settled this area.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillian Gertrude Guillory Lock, one son, George T. Lock, Jr. of St. Louis, Mo., and one brother, Frank Ray Lock of Winston-Salem, N. C.
If they wish, friends may make memorial donations to the St. Patrick building fund or other charities, the family said.
