MRS. LEO KOONCE

IOWA – Funeral services for Mrs. Leo (Eva) Koonce, 69, will be at 10:30 a.m. today, July 8, in Hixson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Robert Hudson will officiate. Burial will be in Goos Cemetery in Lake Charles.

Mrs. Koonce died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Many.

A native of Moline, she had lived in the Iowa area 40 years. She retired from the Calcasieu Parish Library in Iowa after 31 years of service.

Survivors include one son, Connard Koonce, of Keithville; one daughter, Betty Bush of Humble, Texas; two sisters, Edna Goos and Elsie Goos, both of Moss Bluff; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
