Michael Meyerson

        SHREVEPORT, LA – Michael Meyerson, 61, of Shreveport passed away Saturday, December 13, 2003 after a brief illness. He was born and raised in Shreveport. He graduated from C. E. Byrd High School and attended Northwestern State College. Mr. Meyerson was formerly employed by Boyd’s Lithography and was the former owner and operator of a quilt manufacturing company. He loved thoroughbred racing, the New York Yankees and animals. He was a generous and compassionate man who will be greatly missed by family and many friends.
Mr. Meyerson was preceded in death by his father, Jules H. Meyerson. He is survived by his mother, Rose Meyerson of Shreveport; a brother, William Meyerson and wife Alexandra of New York City and a sister Mary Lyn Hammann and husband Walter and their two sons of Seabrook, TX.
Services will be held at a later date in the family cemetery in Lake Charles, LA.
