SULPHUR — Jack Heflin, 66, died at 1:33 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, in his home.
He was a native of Southwest Louisiana and was an avid hunter.
Survivors include his wife, Laura of Sulphur; son, Kevin Dale Heflin of Clear Lake, Texas; sisters, Doll Gillentine and Judy Heflin; and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.T. “Jack” and Bessie Heflin; and his grandparents, Ella and Albert Funk.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Goos Cemetery in Lake Charles. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today, Oct. 13, and from 10 a.m. Wednesday. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixson funeralhomes.com.
