TIMMINS
In Houston,
Texas, on June 3, 1886, Georgiana Goos, wife of Ernest
Timmins, daughter of Daniel and Katherine Goos, aged 29 years,
4 months, and 29
days. Mrs.
Timmins was the daughter of Daniel and Katherine Goos, of this
city, and wife of Ernest Timmins; and at the time of her death
resided with her husband and five children in Houston, Texas.
She was 29 years, 4 months, and 29 days old at the time of her
death; loved and admired by relatives and friends. True the
adage that "death loves a shining mark." She had the
misfortune to lose one of her children, who was brought to the
family graveyard and buried at Goosport not long since. Mrs.
Timmins was an estimable lady, and had many warm friends in
Lake Charles and the surrounding country, who were deeply
pained at the sad intelligence of her death, which reached
here on Friday last. Her remains were interred on the 5th.
inst., in the family burying ground at Goosport, in the
presence of many fond and loving relatives and sympathizing
friends. |
