David Wilson rites
are set today
David A. Wilson,
40, of 512 Ford St. died at 1 p.m. Friday in Methodist
Hospital in Houston. Burial will be at 3
p.m. today (Nov. 27) in Goos Cemetery in Goosport under
direction of Hammer Funeral Home.
He had
been an employee of Continental Oil Co. for more than 10 years
and was a chemist. A native of
Santa Fe,
N.M., he had lived in Lake Charles since 1943. He served in
the U.S. Navy for four years during the Korean
War. A graduate of Lake Charles High
School, he attended LSU and was graduated from McNeese with a
degree in physics. He had worked for
local, Baton Rouge and Plaquemine radio stations as an
engineer. Survivors are his wife, Mrs.
Fritzi Krause Wilson; two sons, David Krause and John Krause
Wilson; his mother, Mrs. Margery Wilson, all of Lake Charles,
and his father, A. W. Wilson of Albuquerque,
N.M. If they wish, friends may make
memorial donations to the Episcopal Day School or the American
Cancer Society, the family said.
