ALBERT E. TRAMMEL

        Albert E. Trammel, 68, of 2200 Barbe Court, died at 6:15 a.m. today, May 17, in a local hospital.
        Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 19, in First Baptist Church.
        Dr. Hugh Van Eaton, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Goos Cemetery.
        Visiting hours at the funeral home will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 18. The body will be moved to the church at 2 p.m. Sunday.
        Mr. Trammel was a barber and former owner of Dixie Barber Shop. He was a member of the barber's local, the Masonic Lodge 165 and a thirty-second degree Mason, active and honorary. He was former chairman of the ushers of First Baptist Church for many years.
        Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Thelma Funk Trammel; one son, Ted Trammel of Lake Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Natalie Dupuis of Monroe; four sisters, Mrs. Flossie Horton, Mrs. Ruby Dowies, Mrs. Alvie Dowies and Mrs. Charles Chaney, all of Pitkin; one brother, Charlie Trammel of Pitkin, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
